INSTRUMENTS & IDEAS / BROOKLYN, NY

Familiar forms.
A personal touch.

Guitars shaped by a player’s hands
and a product designer’s eye.

Pickups, necks, wiring, finish.
The details make the instrument.

02 / ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

A designer’s eye.
A player’s hands.

I’m David, a guitar builder, player, collector and product designer in Brooklyn. Bean Guitars brings those worlds together.

I’m drawn to familiar instruments with a point of view: a different pickup pairing, a neck that feels right, wiring that opens up another sound. The Beancasters are where I explore those ideas.
